INVESTOR REQUIREMENTS

Prospective investors must be referred by a Bellstone principal, professional affiliate or client.  Bellstone observes best practices in evaluating investors for real estate investments as established under investment suitability guidelines by FINRA and reserves the right to determine the suitability of investment offerings for investors.  Bellstone will adopt a "Know Your Client Rule" by obtaining a form of United States identification, name, tax identification number, physical residence address, telephone number, date of birth, employment status, annual income, net worth (excluding primary residence), and investment objectives.  Bellstone does not broker the sale or purchase of securities and is not licensed as a securities broker-dealer.   
Investors in real estate notes and partnerships should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum net worth of $2,000,000 (excluding primary residence).  
  • Minimum income for prior two years of $200,000 for an individual ($300,000 for married filing jointly) with a reasonable expectation of the same or better income level for the current and following year
  • Experience in real estate investing

In addition, all investors should have a tax advisor, attorney and/or CPA review and approve their investments prior to inception.
